Your wedding flowers

Keep the flowers from one of your most important days.

Your wedding bouquet is part of a moment you'll want to remember. Rather than letting the flowers fade away, I carefully press and preserve them, transforming them into a piece of artwork that can become part of your home.

Each piece is made around your flowers, preserving their natural shapes, colours and character while creating something personal and lasting.

The process

From bouquet to artwork

Every bouquet is carefully handled and pressed before I begin creating the final piece. The process takes time, but that is part of preserving your flowers properly.

01

Get in touch

Tell me about your wedding, your bouquet and what you'd like to preserve. We can discuss your flowers, artwork and framing options before i collect your bouquet or it is dropped off.

02

Your flowers are pressed

Your flowers are carefully prepared and pressed by hand. This takes several weeks, allowing the flowers to dry and preserve properly while retaining as much of their natural character as possible.

03

Your artwork is created

Once your flowers are ready, I arrange them into your finished composition. Each piece is created individually around the flowers from your bouquet.

04

a memory to keep

Your finished artwork is ready to be framed and enjoyed for years to come, a lasting reminder of your wedding day.

Your flowers

What can be preserved?

Most wedding bouquets contain a beautiful mix of flowers, foliage and small details, and each one responds differently to pressing. I'll talk you through what is possible when we discuss your bouquet.

Flowers

Roses, daisies, delphiniums, cosmos and many other flowers can be pressed and incorporated into your artwork. The final result will reflect the natural character of each flower.

Foliage

Leaves, grasses and other greenery can add shape, texture and movement to a composition, helping to tell the story of your original bouquet.

Meaningful details

Where possible, small botanical details or flowers with particular sentimental meaning can be incorporated into the final artwork.

A little flexibility

Flowers don't always press exactly as expected. I'll work with the natural changes that happen during preservation to create something beautiful from the flowers you have.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch

When should I get in touch about preserving my bouquet?

Ideally, get in touch before your wedding or as soon as possible afterwards. Fresh flowers are best prepared for pressing while they are still in good condition, so I'll talk you through what to do with your bouquet after the wedding.

How long does the preservation process take?

Pressing and drying the flowers takes several weeks before I can begin creating the artwork. The overall timeframe depends on the flowers in your bouquet and the artwork you're commissioning.

Do you preserve the whole bouquet?

Not necessarily. The amount of your bouquet used in the final artwork can be discussed when we plan your piece. Some flowers may be selected for the composition while others may not be suitable for pressing.

Can I choose how my artwork looks?

Yes. Each piece is created around your flowers, and we can discuss the overall composition, size and framing before the artwork is made.

Do you work with bouquets in Guernsey?

Yes. Naomi Mather Studio is based in Guernsey and offers bespoke wedding bouquet preservation and pressed floral artwork locally.

What happens if some of my flowers don't press well?

Different flowers respond differently to pressing. I'll work with the flowers that preserve well and use their natural shapes, colours and textures to create the best possible composition.
