salty sea legs
a collaboration with day surfboards . this board uses seaweed hand-picked by myself while free diving in the south coast of cornwall. the salty sea legs design is printed on decal paper by elusive press screenprint . this board is a 9’1 colt, nose concave to roll. the pressed seaweed detailing was hand finished by myself.
About the project
after working with day surfboard on my own personal longboard, i was inspired to challenge myself and give pressing sea weed a go. at the time i was free-diving often and exploring the bays around the falmouth area.
i really enjoyed exploring the underwater terrain of the falmouth area searching for red seaweed as it tends to grow in areas that receive less light
