About

Hey there, I’m Naomi! 

Born in Guernsey but raised in Saudi Arabia and Texas I’m fortunate to have experienced an array of cultures from a young age.

Before studying Graphic and Communication Design at the University of Leeds I worked at a Kindergarten in Hong Kong teaching English. Choosing to go to Hong Kong was a pivotal moment in my life and paved the way for the rest of my journey to unfold.

At University I managed to secure two internships for a Year in Industry, the first with O’Neil Europe in the Netherlands and the second with Kima Surf in Indonesia. Escaping the university environment to work in two completely different cultures did me the world of good and exposed me to even more people and ways of life. It also helped that I got to surf loads!

Returning to Leeds I graduated and next thing I know I had my sites set on Cornwall. I tend to follow my heart with most things and knew I needed to live by the sea. Several years and jobs later plus a lot of hard work I landed a role at a digital design agency. Over two years later and I’ve decided to take another leap to see what else is out there.

As of September 2023 I will be studying to be a Nurse in Guernsey, where I am currently living with my partner. It's great to be back where my family is from! 




MY SKILLS

I have done a range of things in my life so far. Hospitality, Education, Surf instructing, Admin, Project Management, Design, Production, Crewing on sailboats. All have been immensely valuable to my skill set!

Outside of work

I am an avid lover and advocate of the Sea. From sailing, cold water swimming, free diving, shellfish forging, surfing and paddle boarding – rain or sunshine I can usually be found at the beach! (When i'm not working 😜)
